No, that’s why you take her to a very nice coffee shop, buy her a cup of the most expensive thing her heart desires, sit in the most private spot in the shop, and tell her in a tone of voice bordering on tears and sprinkled heavily with apologies for having to tell her.

Lila didn’t do anything wrong in this situation, she didn’t invite Tad to hit on her so she shouldn’t feel guilty like she has to apologize. Tad’s the one in the wrong, not Lila.

The problem is Drew might think Lila is just jealous.

Drew on some level knows what she’s getting into, and has accepted it. There’s no need to spell things out for her.

Those Family Circus kids need to get eaten by Marmaduke then roasted on a spit by Hagar who suffers salmonella and dies falling on top of the Wizard of Id who just finished strangling Mary Worth. Wasn’t he the one that they caught with another woman before? If so, then Drew needs to get over that whole situation.
