I think Drew will probably lose the baby. This may be John’s way of hitting the “reset” button on the pregnancy.

Edit: Upon rereading my comment, I realize that it may have come off snarky, when I didn’t mean it to be. If John decides to go this route, I have confidence he can make it be poignant without being maudlin. In my opinion the strip would change too drastically if he introduced a baby into the mix.
Nick I was wondering the same myself, though we see Drew little enough that I doubt it would radically alter things & could be an interesting change with lots of potential …
I think ultimately this may be more about Tad than Drew anyway — tho’ exactly how I wouldn’t dare guess.
(I will throw this out tho’: Tad’s a surgeon, so the fact that he’s not answering a page could mean he’s already in there … sure surgeons are generally not supposed to work on relatives, but he might not even know if her face is covered or bloodied & she was rushed in as a nameless emergency victim) (but he could also be off being Tad the Cad that we know he is) (either way he’s going to get a shaking up)
