Drew will be a good mom, but I hope it’s not with Tad! She needs to drop kick that loser. He was no where to be found as Drew was being rushed into the hospital, was likely cheating on her (again) as she was being told that she’d lost her baby… He needs to get his butt kicked, and hard.

Boyd snarking at Lila is a good thing for her — it shows her that the worst is over & her life can start returning to normal … well, maybe not that good, but still …

Grieving takes about five years. Lost child grieving can take much longer. How long will it take in comic years?

Interesting question, freeholder. I can safely say comic years goes much faster!

In terms of grieving: my Mom lost a one child when he was a few hours old (ca. 1959) and one when he was about 30 years old (both were older brothers, although I obviously never met the one who died as a baby). Judging from my parents’ experience, they never really got over losing a grown child; I’m sure losing a baby was sad for them, but they did try to ameliorate their sorrow by having another one as soon as possible (which was me). I like to tell my siblings I was the only one our parents had on purpose.

@ John re: “I can safely say comic years goes much faster!” You must not read Spider-Man or any of the “soap” strips!
