Just curious, but are the strips being written independently by more than one person? The past couple strips were funny, but they seem completely out of step with the strips for the previous few weeks.
Hi Paul, thanks for the question. The strip is written by one person…me and illustrated by three illustrators on rotation. While it is a serial comic, there are actually several storylines with rotate back and forth every one or two weeks. Hope it’s not too jarring and that you enjoy following along. We have a few things going on right now: Lila is looking for a job. Boyd has a new co-worker, Bridget. And Annie has been adopted by Dr. Fine and Alan. You can find out more on my Web site.
Oh, I followed the line - just that there was little or no transition between them. For example, if you had clearly put Lila and Boyd in say, the hospital cafeteria or something.
The Sunday strip with Annie was very good too, but some reference to getting home from the hospital would have smoothed the transition better, I think.
Obviously, I don’t write comic strips, so I may be totally off base here. Just my opinion in other words. :)

You didn’t use a doctor for a reference, did you?

Disconnected even…
Funny good strip, but jarring in a way.
