The Dr’s are doing all they can with your dad, an Annie is taken care of by Dr. Fine for all of her health issues. They also have her every week end. Please find peace in all of that, You have her 5 days a week only after school, so what is the real problem Lila?

Good job on the art of Lila today (and yesterday)—conveying her exhaustion (we’ll be charitable and say it’s that, not being drunk) with a subtle hair change and tiny undereye circle-line—smart drawing and well done.

@arsmall. My elderly father had a terrible stoke and my life turned upside-down. Between work and being there for my mother and father, I completely ignored my blog and apparently forgot to renew it. It’s been a rough summer and I’m hoping my father gets well enough soon to return home. Thanks for asking :-)

JWF may God bless you and your family. If it is any consoltation all of that has NOT affected your ability to carry on with this strip, and very well may I add. Hopefully it is an escape for you. I still am praying for you father.
