I just found out something, I wrote to Go Comics and complained about that annoying ad that slids in from the left.They very nicely explained the reason an suggested I Go Pro.For $11.88 A Year. I did and no more ads! What a cheap solution to an annoying problem. Look below under HELP select Go Pro, and your free of ads! Sweet deal.
What’s wrong with giving a dollar a month for all the comics you can read? And letting the cartoonist get a little something for all the entertainment they provide? If some of us aren’t willing to give a little now, one of these days all of us are going to have to give a lot more. Most cartoonists are paid by syndicates who distribute to newspapers, right? You see what’s happening to those.
The reason I starting paying in the first place for gocomics, and comics.com before they merged, was so I could read all the archives. Can you do that without paying now? You can’t on King Features and I’m still debating on that one. There are a few there I’d like to go back more than a month on. Small price to pay for the entertainment if you use it as much as I do. One of the reasons I don’t comment more than I do…too busy reading. There’s just a select few I read comments on, and fewer that I comment on.
