Well, that’s complete nonsense. If I am WITH someone, and they are important, I don’t answer. If I am driving, I don’t answer. If I am at work, I don’t answer. If I am in bed, whether sleeping or doing something else, I don’t answer. Et cetera, et cetera.
This is a weak-minded woman who can’t stand to face the fact that HER carelessness may have cost the life of her unborn child and is desperately flailing for some excuse or someone else to blame for that horrible reality. (And quite frankly, I can’t really blame her. Or at the least, I sympathise with her desperation. I don’t know what I’d do if I had a hand in ending the life of my own child. Or anyone’s child. Become an alcoholic?)
