Sedgwick says, "Well, sir, I suspect we've caught you on one of your better days! Here you are? before your makeshift stove? roasting some fortuitous find from a highway median?" Monty says, "Highway median? What're you talking about? I'm cooking hot dogs! Haven't you ever seen a hot dog before?" Sedgwick says, "A hot dog did you say? Um. Why yes. Surely. Of course. Carry on." Sedgwick says, "Good lord, Jarvis! Things are more desperate than I suspected!" Jarvis says, "What portion of the sorry beast do you suppose those represent?!"

Well, I had been assuming that at least Jarvis was a bit more worldly than that. Perhaps he was hatched from an egg when young Sedgwick was born and has been attached to him since then. Or he could be a clone… they may grow more quickly, no?
