There's something about the day after Christmas... A certain... Melancholy... The decorations are still up... Th' garland's still hung... But the festivity has gone... Perhaps it's a legacy of childhood Christmas wishes unfulfilled... Or... Tap Poof! And then there's the matter of forgetting to water the Christmas tree...
But what of “the 12 Days of Christmas,” which begin with Christmas Day and end at the traditional date (6 January) of the Epiphany (a.k.a. Feast of the Three Kings)? Shucks, I can remember when it was custom to set up and decorate your Christmas tree on Christmas Eve!
