And so... I'm off into the night!... Free of my former conventional bourgeois, hidebound morse. No limits. The world is mine to do with as I please! Now I know how it feels to be a Mongolian general thundering across the steppes of Central Asia! Or a Roman Emperor at the height of Roman dominance! Or a tea party conservative and a heavily gerrymandered voting district!

What does reduced taxation, limited government, and adherence to the Constitution have to do with gerrymandering?
Kip W almost 11 years ago
It’s how the GOP kept control of Congress despite far fewer votes than the Democrats. So much for the will of the people.

I have fond, though vague, memories of “Robotman.” I recently reconnected with “Monty” to see what had changed. In response to the irrelevant Tea Party jibe, I will now unsubscribe.

Hey it works both ways, the Democrats do the same.

Sweet political reference! But no Tea Partier is smart enough to use the word “gerrymandered.”

Political jibes in any direction fall from my well waxed feathers as I no longer see much distinction between parties. I’ve always been ultra conservative (Goldwater, not Regan) and also an extreme conservationist and proponent of reuse and recycle methods.
As I find more people trying to make a fool of me, I resist even more to the extent of just voting and not being otherwise involved (much less to the extent of being offended or identifying with any current parties). I am just about the same about organized religion; I think it should just be a personal matter (and churches become much like parties).

Monty wouldn’t survive one full moon in the heavily gerrymandered mean streets of Chicagoland! He’s just a poseur, a fantasist. Let’s face it: a fraud!I knew Mr. Hyde, and you’re no Hyde!
