No need t' pack gorp or granola bars went hiking! Not when you're familiar with all the many indigenous edible plant varieties! Ah. Take this plant here... This is what Native Americans called Akasisewa root... Not only is it delicious, but it can also be used to treat eye infections after the waterproof canoes... Yummm... Weird... That Akasissewa root looks a lot like the diagram of poison ivy in the guidebook. That might explain why my mouth, esophagus and stomach lining are suddenly itchy.
