Um. The Subaru in the left lane wants to come over... We're in a traffic jam. Ignore them. Keep inching forward... But there lane is ending! It's closed for construction... This is just the way it's done. Pretend you don't see them... But it's hard when grandma's in the back waving to get my attention... The ol peripheral vision trick! Don't fall for it! Look straight ahead... A scowling expression sometimes helps.
This driving style can be found all over the world in most cities. It is the neoliberal one, formerly known as egoistical behaviour. Thanks to the big companies and their stooges Ronald Reagan, Margret Thatcher, and others around the world for morphing the society to monetarism. There are many more stooges today supporting the dictatorship of the rich, so you have a large number of #%&§!s to be thankful to for living in this kind of society.
