Jarvis could make this so much better for Sedgwick if he’d just “accidentally” leave $10,000 on the coffee table.

Mr. Potter is the only truly evil character in a Christmas story (common ones anyway)… some people are still hung up on the idea of that being Ebeneezer Scrooge, but the reality is Scrooge was redeemed and transformed in the story – Potter is not, nor will he ever be, redeemable…

Back in the 80s a friend and I were kicking around the idea of an updated ‘Wonderful Life’ geared to yuppie ‘Wall Street’ sensibilities – “I wish I had a tax shelter for my million dollars. Hot dog!”

This is the first time I’ve ever seen Sedgie politely ask Jarvis if he minded if he did something.

Sedgewick wears all his weaknesses and strengths so openly and honestly. Cannot help but like him, even as I fear his Dad and Auntie will twist him toward the greed and selfishness they revel in. Keep trying Jarvis!
