Sounds like a very old joke: “Do you know how I can get to the Westminster Dog Show?” “No, but if you hum a few bars, I’ll try to fake it.”

Even older joke: Messenger boy is delivering a telegram to someone at Carnegie Hall. Boy gets lost and asked some guy “How do I get to Carnegie Hall?”

Guy says “Practice, boy, practice”.

I like to give “practice” as the answer to any question of how something is done.
