When I was a kid, we’d make trips from Houston, Texas to North Arkansas and I remember my dad patching flats on the side of the rode several times per trip. Thought nothing of it. It was expected back then.
In the 70s, I lived on the top floor of a building on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River. The Goodyear blimp would fly up and down the river on sighseeing trips and turn around right in front of my apartment. I could see their faces. We’d wave to them from the balcony.

People were whining when the 21st century began that they didn’t have their flying cars yet. Who knew that Jeff already had it down?

Must have been the GOODYEAR blimp. And imagine trying to patch a tire on the road, even a bike tire.
