Okay, here is the night: Left here about 6:30 PM. Went and had a big meatloaf dinner, then to the District Tavern and had a couple of Kilt Lifters,(a rather potent brew) and then next door to Sharks. At Sharks, I am family. I took deliverys for the former owners, and signed as the witr\ess when it changed ownership. There I had three Jack Daniels. I arrived home at a little after 4:00 AM, This post was made about 5:00.AM. Never got very drunk cause I spaced out my drinking, but did feel it enough to be careful when I moved about.
Sharks, on Friday nights, is very crowded. It is “Rock en Espanol” night. Being “family” I didn’t have to pay cover and hung out after closing time (2:00 AM). In short. it was a noisy fun time, Got to see some friends I hadn’t seen in months, Sharks is also PACKED on Friday night.
Oh……for some reason my money wasn’t acceptable last night. So…. Had a good time, listened to some really loud music and had to :-((( turn down a couple of invitations to dance with attractive young Hispanic ladies, and I hung out half the time with the man who puts the show on weekly.
All in all……..A fun birthday!! Can’t hardly wait for #80!!!
Funny, nobody missed me while I was gone. It’s like the early bird Vagabonds have forgotten about us second shifters. There I was hunkering down in Fredericksburg, Texas, while Tropical Storm Hermine was a blowin’ and’ a goin’ and nobody even cared. Sniff.
I did have a good time last night. Shared time with some friends I hadn’t seen in a while and, made some new ones.
Like I said, the music was loud. Mostly rap and hiphop and in Spanish. You would have to be there on a Friday night to appreciate just how crowded it gets, and with thw weather cooling off it’s going to get even more packed on Fridays. I plan to be down there more often!!
I thank all of you for your “happy birthdat, Slim” wishes, and look forward to more next year. :-))))n Thank You, fellow Vagabonds!!!!!
P.S. No hangover headache. Got to bed about 5:30 AM, Up about 2:30 PM.

And oh, by the way. While I was trying to avoid getting killed by the mini-hurricane, Bob has posted 2 new chapters of the Annie story.

Ahh, david, I missed you. The place seemed empty for some reason!!! I guess you had a hair raising experience, huh?
Thanks for the heads up on Annie. :))
