We had a magnificent trip to San Diego for our son’s wedding…………….and we leave for home tomorrow morning. Well, almost tomorrow a.m…….we have to stop in North Hollywood to the European Sausage company for a supply of Polish sausages (no place like that in Montana), and then to the Monte Carlo deli in Burbank for a supply of real Italian Sausage!!!! (again, no place like that in Montana).
So, we’ll really leave for home on Wednesday a.m.
We have to tell you all that we had a very nice visit with JanCinVV last week………………..too short, but still we had a chance to visit and get our hugs in! You fellows need to know that Jan is a very neat lady, and very intelligent, too! Needless to say, we had a very nice visit with her!
Rita, thanks for the compliment. My mom always said I was smart……(My brothers didn’t!)I too had a really nice visit. Your mountain man impressed me with his knowledge of classic film! You know you are welcome to stop by again on the way back. Maybe we can actually go to lunch this time.
Jan………it will have to be some other time…….we’re heading out to our daughter’s in Palmdale, and exiting the AV through Mojave……..(safer route than through Pearblossom).

@RITA, some years back did two weeks in Mojave desert laying telephone lines for the Marine Corps. 112 degrees in theshade:-) Yea, I was glad to get back home also after that. :-)
