Good morning, Villagers. It’s good to know that Slim is OK.. I would have also phoned him, but my time zone is 3 hours earlier and I didn’t know his awake schedule. So, Slim, if you can read this, a big “Hello” from Arye in THE Bronx

@ Shirttail Slim- Thanks for the note at FoxTrot Espanol and including me in belated Mother’s Day wishes here at B y E (late yesterday). I’m glad the Ft. Laud. postcard made its way to you in Tucson OK. :-)

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

I changed my avatar to a close up of one of the buffalo that passed our car in Yellowstone. When i enlarged the shot, you can see the reflection of our car in his/her eye!!!!! They came within 5 to 10 feet of the car. We had no choice but to stay put and hope they were in a good mood!

Slim: Glad to know you are ok. We miss you.

Rita: Great photo. We’ve had some close-up moments with bison like that, too. We had to wait almost an hour while a herd of them crossed the road just outside of Yellowstone, and we were first in line! Loved it!
