It’s Monday. That’s a mouthful all by itself. Or at least it used to be before we retired. Now Monday means that the businesses are all open again. And laundry.
Today I will be tramping around the complex with another landscape contractor. We are really unhappy with our current provider and their contract is due to lapse. So we’re going out to bid for a new one.
My indoor walks have been doing pretty well for me. It keeps my number of steps up and doesn’t kill me with the heat. Of course, today’s will be outdoors, but I think I can live with that once in a while – at least until the fall weather arrives.
We’re looking at highs in the mid 100’s and lows in the mid 80’s for the next 10 days or so. Heavy sigh.
i had another fall first thing this a.m. jack couldn’t get me up, and our neighbor was still camping, so we had to call 911. fortunately they were ladies so i wasn’t embarrassed. i am quite sore, but okay. thank the Lord!
Well the family has just left after having dinner. I originally planned to grill chicken on the grill, but the rain changed my mind. Glad it is so easy to change from grilled to baked.
Other than that it has been a very quiet day. This morning it started out at 75 and our high was 84. And of course it rained today. The weather man kept saying that the rain would start around 9 pm. It came 5 hours early. It would be nice if it continued all night.

Happy Monday Vagabonds
At first look I saw 60 and it’s cloudy. The forecast is for a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 86. I’ll take it, I’ve got a choice, right. (^.^)
Yesterday we had a good message based on Queen Esther, part of a sermon series titled “Trials of Faith” The sermon itself titled “One Brave Woman”.
