We’re gray-ish again this morning, though not as “glowering” as Wednesday. It was 40 when I got up and has gotten all the way up to 43. The forecast is for 59 so I guess I’ll wear a jacket when I head for the doc this morning.
I did do a trial treadmill test yesterday and I failed. It wasn’t so much the walking pace as the incline. I only made it half way through when my hip just said “NO!”. So I called the doctor’s office and they wouldn’t just let me switch to the chemical test. The doctor has to order it. I am still going over there today to get my 24 hour harness monitor, though. (Oh, goody. I just realized that I will still be wearing it when I go to bible study tomorrow. That’s going to be fun to explain.)
After I leave the doctor’s office, I will stop by the university recycling center. I loaded up the car yesterday and there’s a LOT. It should make for an interesting spike on the heart monitor.
Michael’s computer monitor died on Wednesday. So I ordered a new one for him on Amazon. When it arrived yesterday, we realized that it is the same brand and model as the one that went kaput. The old one lasted for several years, so no worries.
Mike came over yesterday afternoon and put the Christmas tree back up into the high shelf where we store it. While he was here, he and Michael watched the last period of Wednesday’s Silver Knights game that both of them had missed due to being sick. The first two periods were pretty tame, but that last one was great. The Knights went into it with a 3 to 2 advantage and the game ended with them winning 6 to 3. Hockey can be very exciting!
Good morning, Vagabonds.
