Mark, I hope you are feeling a bit better today. Wise idea to keep your germs to yourself as much as you can.
At prayer group yesterday morning, we added both Mark and Jack to the list. Praying for quick recovery for both of them.
I went over to the practice arena for the Knights to check out the store that they call the Livery. I did buy a jacket & a sweatshirt, but had more fun watching the team practicing. The building is called the “America First Center” and holds several rinks as well as a couple of restaurants and the Livery. They built it right in the middle of the downtown area.
The center is just down the street from the courthouse and the parking garage is between the two. When I was leaving the center I heard someone yell “Police! Stop!” and there was a young woman running at top speed right at me. On her tail were two plain clothes cops (or bailiffs, not sure which) booking it as fast as they could after her. I did a bit of dodging to let her go around me and watched them chase her over to the arena and catch her. By the time I left, there were six cops/bailiffs surrounding her.
Between that and watching the hockey practice, it was an exciting morning. Then I came home and worked on my rug. Talk about a let down!
Today I’m off to spend the day with Cozy. She’s learning to play Cribbage, so I have no doubt what we’ll be doing.
We’re supposed to get back up to 60 today though it’s only 45 right now. (8 AM) We have some high wispy clouds at the moment, nothing like the grey gloom of the last two days.
Good morning, Vagabonds.
