    Thanks for pointing that out, but notice also that the book says “Myth”. :)

    I don’t know about babies, but according to Tolkien’s The Hobbit (and thus on good authority), Smaug the Dragon preferentially ate maidens. Maybe some of their jewelry got stuck on the way down…?

    Wikipedia is cool. Boody is cool. What happens when two cool things contradict? The mind boggles. I’m guessing they produce a quantum singularity.

    Wikipedia isn’t so bad. I used it to find the history of radio & TV stations. At least those are true.

    Wikipedia is cool, and fast, and often a good introduction to a topic–but it still needs to be verified by other sources. It is not always correct.
