But if she’s Cassandra, wouldn’t Boody just ignore her? Or maybe he’ll ignore her later when she predicts tragedy (like getting snow under his sweater)…
Everybody knew that Cassandra knew what she was talking about when discussing the past, it was the future that nobody believed her about.Especially when she was right.
That’s something I never could understand. You’d think after a while, Cassandra would have figured out that nobody believed her prophecies…and would have learned to deal with it:
“Yeah guys, go ahead and bring that wooden horse right in here…and don’t bother to check inside, either. My powers of clairvoyance tell me there’s NO Greeks hiding inside that thing.”
