It seems like the only wet paint is the letters on the sign

Great going, Sluggo…do you know how it is to get the paint off?

Doesn’t work that way, but it is funny in a special way!

The sign was painted by a fan of Magritte. They painted “Wet Paint” on a black board in white paint and hung it on the bench. So it’s actually a 100% accurate sign.

So a wet paint sign was painted on the bench? Doesn’t compute. Ernie must have thought he could slip that past us.

“Once again the artist shows their ‘true colors’: the miserable attempt at perspective (which is oddly shifting from panel to panel); the vanishing trees in the background; and why is Sluggo’s coattail not covered in paint from the bench? We need to go back to muppet babies and Aunt Titzy, fast. This style is just not working.” /s
