My wife even loves him as Matlock. I looked at Andy as a inspiration when I grew up.

We all wished we lived in something as close to a Mayberry.

I love how Fritzy is portrayed so empathetic….

Because I’m a creep I want to see a parody of these memorial strips involving someone clearly not deserving Fritzi’s tears. Imagine a strip in which Fritzi is crying and saying something like “So what if you used your public office for your own gain with Haliburton and treated the Constitution like a dishrag, they’ll never be another one like you, Dick Cheney”.

Thank God for “The Andy Griffith Show” repeats. I wonder if there are towns like Mayberry like that in the U.S., today. Thank you for the tribute, Guy.

I gotcha Buzza Wuzza, anywhere but here. Nancy is positive and uplifting strip since I was a kid and I’m OLD.

It does get political at times as I recall.

Thanks again, Mr. Gilchrist. I always enjoy these, but Andy Griffith was a class act and it’s hard to imagine getting up in the morning knowing he’s not around any more.

No matter how much I watch Andy Griffith, I just can’t get into it. It was from a time way before my generation, but I know it’s important to a lot of people.

He was my favorite. The show still is. This was a tough one to do. Thanks

This tribute to Sheriff Andy was almost as touching as the one you did in Today’s Dogg…Thank you for both of them…RIP Andy, Aunt Bee, Goober, Gomer, and Barney…all of you gave us an ideal world when in reality we lived in one that was so shaky at the time. Between the Cold war and Viet Nam, I remember being scared at times, but never when watching your show, Father Knows Best, or My Three Sons…..

A great tribute to Andy Griffith. Such a heartwarming show. He was terrific in Centinniel too.

Thank you Guy for the wonderful tribute. This world just got a little darker without Andy’s presence.
