Has anyone noticed the physical transformation in the Phil Fumble character Gilchrist has made over the past few years? He has grown taller; more muscular, and his facial features have changed to where he looks less like the one-dimensional balloon-face-with-eyes-Archie-character, to having more defined facial features that mimic those of Fritz. When the character was first re-introduced by Gilchrist in late 2012, he appeared to be a foot shorter than Fritz and lacked any real human body features, i.e., defined face; nose, ears, etc. He was drawn in a manner more closely to that of Nancy and Sluggo. I guess he figured a character drawn like Fritz would not be enamored by a pancake face with circles for ears.http://www.gocomics.com/nancy/2012/11/27http://www.gocomics.com/nancy/2012/11/28http://www.gocomics.com/nancy/2012/12/03http://www.gocomics.com/nancy/2012/12/06http://www.gocomics.com/nancy/2012/12/21
