So if cleanly cutting the tape is Nancy’s trick of hiding her duplicity, then why not hide all the tape in the house? Then you can see all the gifts that were re-wrapped since they are tied with string instead of tape.
LOL! I pulled a Nancy when I was younger. I found what looked like an album under the tree. When my parents were at work, I carefully opened it, listened to the whole thing, taped it back up, and was “surprised” on Christmas morning!
