My mom was Armenian (akin to Turk and Greek) and we had Stuffed Grape Leaves regularly. Think Cabbage Rolls, but tangy-er. Like, dill pickle or lemon tangy. I would eat them, but it wasn’t good. Finally, I figured out I could unwrap the leaf, and eat the filling. My brother, who WAS the picky eater, LOVED them, and he would eat my leaves.
