Get into the Co-op program in your college, get an internship, do something related to your field of study, haul furniture, learn how to fix HVAC, honestly, how did he ever score her and how drunk did he have to get her?
As a teenager I was a life guard and a swimming instructor… there are tests, both physical and academic, that you have to pass first. The only one of the bunch that was particularly difficult was the final one, the WSI (water safety instructor) test, the rest were all easily doable by anyone in reasonable shape and willing to be taught.
