This cartoon, like his others, actually illustrates the Carolyn Hax advice column in the Washington Post. Today’s column headline is “The ‘far too involved’ in-laws.” It addresses the concerns of a woman whose daughter has told her that her husband (i.e. the son-in-law) is upset that the daughter shares too much about their lives with her parents. But Oge is not far off — the daughter and husband live in a house owned by her parents, who also provide free child care two days a week.

A strangely disturbing, yet still appealing, image.

But yeah, I agree with Darsan54 on this one.

Children coming back home and bringing their own kids with them. Another astute observation from Nick.

Good catch, Oge (and probably the rest of you, too). At first, I didn’t realize it was a roo-in-roo-in-roo drawing!
