You know, all this debate over health care could all be solved by using an existing system, the one the Congress and Senate and Federal judges all have. Which amounts to single payer, I suppose, but none of them propose that, do they? Gods forbid the hoi polloi get the golden parachutes that they all have, free medical for life.

Hmm, this sounds like all the really staunch liberals AND staunch conservatives, and … well… anyone who is too set in their ways and determined to be right (not because they are right but because they can’t handle being wrong) to see things from someone else’s point of view.

One year ago conservatives would have agreed with that cartoon. Now liberals do it. So it goes.

The only bi-partisanship you get in this country is hypocrisy.

If mcsame would have won, we would have avoided the town-hall screamings/beatings. But, we would be rolling our eyes at continued bail-outs, and the throwing of money at the fire in Iraq, trying to put it out.

Actually, doesn’t seem to matter whether your a politician or not - there are many going around without permits.

Let’s see….we are still in two (and a half) wars, with one expanding, our civil liberties are still being increasingly violated a la the Patriot Act, the new internet Czar (Russian for Caesar by the way) is going to monitor all our thoughts, the new science Czar wants to sterlize us, and the new Health scare bill will tax our very existence even if we don’t want to be underwrited. How is this not reminiscent of the Nazi’s? This is Bush policy continued, but on steroids and with more consent . Guantanamo isn’t even closed yet, and the plan is to just ship prisoners elsewhere. We are the third most surveilled population in the worldbehind only China and UK. WAKE UP, ALL. Don’t follow the left-right paradigm. It is all a sham.

OK, before I even read the comments, I’d love to see Riley chime in with “Why do people make this about politics! It’s just a comic!” (Sorry Dude, if I stole your punch line….) Man,this one is funnier than all get out! It’s really about people who don’t care how they are perceived. They are right, with God on their side, and the rest of us are dummies, and they don’t care what anybody thinks about it. Becoming buffoons is an interesting political strategy. It’s a good thing, too, because it seems that idiots are the only people that Democrats can outsmart!

I never realized this many politically inclined people read this comic, as I thought I was one of few adults who still read the funnies :D

And leave it to Right/Left people to make a big deal about this in the comments section. You do realize no one cares what you right if its an offensive opinion or head-nodding or talking points, right?

Just try to make jokes people. Lets at least LAUGH at something together!

People who came to bush rallies were arrested for wearing anti war T-shirts, to presidential rallies. Now guns are OK? Right. It used to be patriotic to support the president, but now it’s not? What insecure, sniveling, lying, ruthless, scary, whiner’s conservatives are. I will not dignify them with the name republican, because over the years the republican party has at least been civil, if wrong most of the time. Conservatives are losers…sore ones at that. What babies! Obama’s just another Democratic president. But conservatives always freak out, buy guns and take to the woods and go all anti government, just waiting for the tanks of the United States of America roll over them, when the Dems win. What third wold country do they think they live in? It’s completely irrational. Why would anybody put such paranoid people in power? Their behavior insults all thoughtful and educated people in this country, and they should be ashamed of themselves…

NoBrandName, point well taken. I keep forgetting that some of their ideas are good. And yes, it would be better if we had a “Loyal Opposition” in this country. Unfortunately it’s beginning to look like we don’t. Gerald Ford always said we can disagree, without being disagreeable. Boy, is he lookin’ good about now…
