Fergie sure is wearing a great disguise. I would never have recognised her but the sign is a dead give away. The sign is also just about as blatant as she was.
I hate Saturdays when all the commenters are at home instead of at work reading the comics. Here I am 4th, and usually I have a long page of “conversations” with friends.
Making stuff, here, in the U.S.? That’s so 20th century. On the other hand, paying to have your picture taken with someone, or to have lunch with them…that’s where it’s at.
It’s like I asked the guy who wanted me to become one of his Amway dealer so we could both get rich: “If everyone is selling the ‘business’ to make money, who’s selling the soap?”
I read the comics before I go to work during the week, while drinking my coffee and desperately trying to rouse myself into a state of semi-conscious awareness. I sleep in on Saturday and Sunday, so if I post it is much later. That could be another explanation.
As for the ‘toon, seems all too true, if a bit late to the game.
miniwedge, I thought the condition of the Duchess of York really tragic and deplorable. It is a shame that everyone does not feel compelled to learn how to provide for themselves!
I also think that the fact that so many are possibly reading cartoons “on the clock” is disgraceful - I used to read ONLY on my lunchtime just to escape the pressures of work.
well wiley, personally i prefer when you pick at ideas and parties, rather than individuals. but it’s obviously your right to pick on who you see fit to pick on.
funny generally but the andrew sign? IMHO it’s mean… and i would rarely say that about you. saddened by that.

“…commenters are at home instead of at work reading the comics.” I think you’re on to something there. Let me think about it a bit more.

That’s all most communities have. Very few places produce their own energy/power. Haven’t for years.

the condition of the Duchess of York is, in real life, tragic. In the cartoon world, it’s still hysterical to put that little bit into the comic.
BTW: miniwidge, not wedge
