Interesting figure-ground reversal in 2nd panel from top.

They also like to promote ignorant ideas. During the Michael Brown incident, just for example, it was like they just wanted anybody to say anything, just to fill airtime. I had to turn it off several times because the stupidity was painfully frustrating to listen to.

Also, CNN is about to lose me if they don’t stop setting their guests up to just argue, as opposed to debate.

mpk39, Yes. I found myself looking at strange dark structures instead of EEEEEs…..I think Wiley did it on purpose…Forgot to mention it….Good call…..

Oh, man, I just figured out why it’s so easy to look at the dark structures in the EEEEEEE panel…The yellow streak runs right through the EEEEEEs making them look like windows into the back ground….He DID do it on purpose! That rascal….What a well named dude….

With a talent that big, it doesn’t matter which side of the issues you support or defend. It transcends the mundane concerns of politics as usual.

Mimi has a future career with the Emergency Alert System, and/or the DoD as a sonic weapon.

Am I the only one who sees a parallel between Mimi and Danae?

Shouldn’t Mimi be wearing a SeaHawks 12 jersey? It really would explain a lot.

Just took another look — it’s not Lucy, has claws instead of hooves. Dragon? Godzilla?

Media nowadays simply sells stuff and promotes ideology. Facts and reporting are the job of nobody. Sad.

I like all the stuff in the comic that everyone mentioned above, but I also love the bone framing of Mimi’s portraits at the top, the coffin framing under the middle panel, and in the bottom panel, the coffin behind the TV with a little noose hanging out of it. Also, masterful how Mimi worked up to the scream and said “eep” in the aftermath. As for CNN, my husband has become a CNN junkie. They will beat a subject to death, then dig it up again and start all over. The events are tragic, sure, but don’t need to be dissected, argued over, and watched 24/7. $$$, maybe? Finally, I may be wrong, but seem to recall that Mimi and Danae met several years ago and didn’t get along well at all.
