    My mother’s explanation for feeding my children cake and ice cream for breakfast: There are eggs and flour and milk and other stuff in it so its EXACTLY the same as giving them eggs and toast….

    It’s called the “Mother’s Curse.” You earned it when you were a child and your mother said “I hope when you grow up your child is just like you.” It works every time. You pay for your raising.

    I hope that when I have kids my mom and dad can spoil them… 1. it means they have been blessed enough so that they can afford to. 2. it means less that I have to give to my child so I can concentrate on the more important things. 3. My husband and I won’t have to fight to see who’s the bad guy. 4. it means that my parents are still alive.
