I played cribbage with a coworker who insisted on playing the red pegs. After I beat him rather soundly in one particular game, he got surly and demanded to play the green pegs. After playing out our hands at one point, I basically drew to an inside straight and chalked up another 60 points in the meld. As he disgustedly moved my red peg further up the board, I looked at him and said softly, “It’s not that easy bein’ green.” He slammed the deck down in front of me and snarled, “Deal!”
