Womble… it’s funny, just tonight I was talking to someone about almost that very thing.
Not just tattoos, but jewelry, souvenirs, scarves… The tattoos might be totally fake characters that mean nothing…
And the articles made by actual Chinese speakers can say anything, as well….How do you know that bracelet says “Long life and happiness?” If I were carving Chinese characters out of “ivory” to glue onto earrings, they might say “#$%! foreigners!” or at least “Stupid tourist.”
