Explanation, please. I know there’s a song called Hummingbird, but I don’t get the identity crisis part or the Google part.

Because they don’t know the words. :D

That must be one scary song though.

They don’t sing, they just buzz. Unless it’s two males, then they try to kill each other.

Hummingbirds only hum their songs; they never sing the lyrics.

If you Google JUST “song lyrics,” it won’t help much.

This song’s lyrics state, “Hummingbird, don’t fly away…” I gather the punchline refers to that. In other words, the hummingbird is wondering whether or not he/she should “fly away” as indicated in the lyrics.

OMG, last night went out to bird bath, the bee balm next to it had a tiny visitor and a regular bee.

I thought i was looking at a mutated yellow/black bee which was a little larger than a bee.

Then i saw it’s “mouth”..i googled.

Ever heard of a Hummingbird Moth???
