Exactly Sunshine and Dew! Hm, I don’t shop at those classy places though. I may get bombed for this, but Walmart really isn’t that bad…their clothes I mean.
Carhartt are men’s jeans, AFAIK, and my shape is pretty far from boyish.
But my favorite pair are black ones from Target, on clearance for $8 a couple of years ago. (Wish I’d bought 5.)
So I was upset when the local thrift shops by this summer had ALL raised the price of used jeans to about $7…. but then, new ones for $8 are few and far between.
Besides I seldom buy any, since my old ones fit well, and don’t often wear out — I guess I’m an easy keeper.
I don’t own a pair of denim jeans (no surprise to some who know me here) but I try to buy my pants on sale and I like silk or linen at Soft Surroundings outlet store (about half of original price-sometimes as low as $20).
Up until last year I was getting my jeans from Tractor Supply Co. The brand was C.E. Schmidt, and they were only about $17. They still have them, but they changed them so they don’t fit me well anymore. They might be fine for others, though. Good material, and still under $20.

$85? That’ll barely get fashionable jeans in a department store…
brands like True Religion or 7 for all Mankind run $200 or more, even $350….
Which is why mine come from ultra chic places like “Le Goodwill”…. and “the Flea Marquette.”

No matter the price, jeans always look best when pooled up on the floor next to a bed…..

Susan and I shop at the same little boutiques, I see. Do you know how many pairs of really nice, genuine vintage jeans you can get for $85?

Get some Carharts. They’re reasonable.

I pay 50 cents for used jeans at thrift store. Once they’re washed a few times, they all look the same.
