I’d never pay over $100 for a pair of shoes. I even heard that one of those pricey designers does not even consider comfort in his designs. If I can find a glue that will hold for layered soles in all weather, I’ll make all my own shoes. I could even convince BF to let me use his lathe to shape the heels.The ones I’ve made so far are 10th century style with pointed toes, but style is no problem.
