Reminded of both the Peterkins’ Christmas tree – they used the hole-in-ceiling method, although it helps to own the house to do that – and Mr Willoughby’s Christmas tree (as read and the pictures shown onscreen by Captain Kangaroo) – he cut off the top, gave it to his butler, who found the top too tall for his garret, cut the top, tossed it out where it was found by a bear, who found it too tall for his cave, and so forth until the remaining piece of top fit into a mousehole.

Saw off the top, place it on a stand in either the room directly above the tree, or on the roof and decorate it.
