My dad loaned me the money for my first car and charged me interest. . . not a lot of interest, just what would have gotten from the bank if he’d kept the money in his savings account. i didn’t buy my kids cars; I didn’t even buy them phones. I appreciated that I had to work for what I had and I have raised my kids the same way.
