Like Cato ending every speech, regardless of subject, with “Carthage must be destroyed,” Prof. Wilfred Lancaster of the University of Illinois Graduate School of Library & Information Science ended every book with a chapter on the coming paperless society. His colleague Charles Davis disagreed – there will always be notepads.
