You can easily see how Ruthie arrived at the name ‘Hairdo Record’ if you follow the line of questioning that Grandpa used. I just wonder how many kids today would even know what the term ‘permanent’ means (either for hairdos, or for records…)
Now that I’m older, that permanent record threat just doesn’t make sense anymore.
