I found a baby squirrel once, and put it in a cage on my porch. I fed it and kept it warm until it got bigger. Then I set him free. Yet every day when I came home, there he was, sitting in the cage. I called him “Squeaker!”
A squirrel with a potty mouth! They get the same back from me when I step on one of their half-buried nuts in the spring. Something I recently learned is that squirrels do not keep track of the nuts they bury. It becomes community property and anyone can eat anyone else’s buried meals. Bunch of commies they are!
Reminds of the squirrel which loves getting one of our dogs go barking and excited barking for the fun of it. Most fun our Golden Retriever has. Wants that squirrel badly. Not related today’s strip. Hubby and I celebrated 40 year anniversary, my sister/hubby also with us to help us celebrate and later activities. Wonderful day today. Started with church, food, cake and ice cream, and civic center for a last day of Women’s Fair.

Looks very funny when Ruthie jumps on Joe like a little monkey.

If a squirrel can get its head through a hole the body is sure to follow.
