Very sweet… except that does lie all the time. Does this sound familiar? “Please, I need some of your food. I’m starving here. I haven’t eaten in days! I’m about to perish from hunger!” This, 5 minutes after you fed them.
I love dogs, but they do know how to lie. One of ours, Sheltie #3, would wolf down his food, then run to bark at the front door. Sheltie #2 always ate slowly. When Sheltie #3 ran to the door he felt compelled to follow, leaving half of his food behind. As soon as he left his dish, Sheltie #3 would swoop in and clean up after him.
