Usually children that age won’t appreciate this. Dad needs to wait a few years and try again.

Went to the Grand Canyon with a friend and his family. The kids were preteen and bored. Years later they talk about going.

Of course, not even slightly inspired by Genesis 22:1-19… Or the verse in Dylan’s “Highway 61”. Or Leonard Cohen’s “The story of Isaac”, verse three. This one’s a classic!

“Are we there yet?”

Makes a parent want to cry. Then the kids say you never did anything with us. :(

How old is this? Do kids still watch The Simpsons?

What kind of father let his underage kids watch the simpsons?

Sounds like a nice winter whine.

”Can we go home now?”

To paraphrase Ellsworth from Deadwood, “If I’m going to die, I’d rather do it before I exert myself further.”

Where’s Mom? At least Dad would have some support against the whiners.

Looks like dad’s been watching National Lampoon Vacation movies a few too many times.
