What shrewd marketing – collect 100 coupons but from only 3 consecutive weeks. That certainly gives the page a tangible value.

Notice how all the pretty ladies have that “Gibson Girl” look to them…..those were popular back in the day.

Well, all the boys have that Swinnerton look, so it balances out. This is great stuff from the day when kids hoped a kindly stranger on the street might take an interest in them and (a la Horatio Alger) reward them with a humble job in his factory.

    In conclusion: Kin-Der-Kids!

(We had some candy in a bowl at the office one time, and I pointed this out to Joe as he passed through. He explained that he had promised his mother he’d never accept candy from strangers unless they offered him a ride.)

According to the GC calendar, there were none on the fifth nor the third. Can’t enlarge what isn’t there.

I have to go clear to Brooklyn to get my new watch? I don’t think that’s worth it.
