The big Busby Berkeley production number Pettin’ in the Park, from the movie Gold Diggers of 1933, ends with Ruby Keeler and assorted other young lovelies availing themselves of tin or sheet-metal bathing suits, only to have modern-day Cupid Billy Barty provide Dick Powell with an industrial-grade can opener. Ah, Pre-Code Hollywood!
