What’s really interesting is that this submarine is over a hundred years out of date, being obviously based on Bushnell’s “Turtle” of 1775. By 1905, the US Navy was already using torpedo-launching, double-hulled, diesel/electric submarines that were basically the design used in WW1 and WW2, though smaller.
