Hey, I think they should be called âFlutterbysâ because that IS what they do, they flutter by. I really donât see where âbutterâ enters into it! Besides, I have yet to see one land on a piece of toast! I think the misspelling rose in the early 18th Century; a typographer switched the F and the B and the proofreader didnât catch it!
